  • Are you trying to conceive or maintain a pregnancy, and it’s just not happening?
  • Are you having painful, irregular periods, short or long cycles and dramatic mood changes?
  • Are you struggling with pregnancy side effects such as nausea, fatigue or pain?
  • Are you perimenopausal and waking up with hot flushes and night sweats or experiencing the fluttery panic of anxiety or new and unwelcome vaginal dryness?

You keep hearing the words “unexplained” or “complex,” and you feel hopeless about your fertility.   You feel the impact of your hormones from pregnancy or perimenopause are having a huge impact on your life, ability to work and the happiness of your relationships. You’ve tried the GP (and Doctor Google), and you don’t know where to turn.

Whatever your life stage, if you’re serious about making changes to your health, want to investigate fertility or hormone-related symptoms, are willing to change your diet and lifestyle and are ready to commit to an acupuncture programme, I’m here to help you.

I am a qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncturist specialising in fertility and hormone health.  The fine needle acupuncture treatment I offer is relaxing and comfortable and will gently work to get your body back into balance, helping to improve your fertility, general health and wellbeing.  My naturopathy expertise means I can tailor advice to your specific needs, and  I offer a range of other therapies which will support your health and wellness.

If you live in or around Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath, or just over the bridge in South Wales, I would be happy to see you in clinic.  If you live further afield, I am able to offer online support.

Who do I work with?
  • Men, women, individuals or couples (including lgbtq+ individuals and couples) who are trying to conceive - Please see my Fertility page.
  • Women who are pregnant.
  • Women with problems with their menstrual cycle whether that is pain, mood changes, irregular periods, short or long cycles.
  • Women who are suffering with peri-menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, anxiety and vaginal dryness.
  • People suffering from pain.
  • People looking for help with mood, emotions, energy levels and general wellbeing.
If you fall into one of the categories above, then I want to work with you!

What I do:
  • I offer Acupuncture in Covid-Secure Clinics on Gloucester Road in Bristol and Iron Acton in South Gloucestershire.
  • I will work with you to understand your journey so far and point you in the direction of additional tests, if necessary, to help to explain why you are experiencing these symptoms.
  • Your course of acupuncture will target these problems with the aim of improving your symptoms as well as your general health and wellbeing.
  • If you choose to include Naturopathic advice with your initial consultation, I will recommend changes to your diet and lifestyle, as well as nutritional supplements to support your journey.  For Fertility and Hormone health, this is included as it is vital for making good progress.
  • Sometimes I will refer you to a Fertility Herbalist alongside Acupuncture.

Is this you?
  • You are serious about making a change to your health.
  • You would like to investigate your health or fertility with extra tests to understand what needs to be done to become pregnant or maintain a pregnancy.
  • You are willing to make dietary and lifestyle changes to enhance your health alongside acupuncture.

If this is you and you would like to get started, please contact me to book an appointment. Please note that I value my time with my clients so I only take on new cases when I have space to really help you.

It is really important to be aware that a course of Acupuncture is a gentle approach to help your body get back into balance.  I believe that every body wants to be in optimal health but stress, diet and lifestyle factors can impact this, causing aches, pains and hormones to fall out of balance.  It depends on your health and would be discussed with you as part of your initial consultation, but generally, a course of acupuncture begins weekly for the first 5-12 weeks.  Once we have seen positive changes in your symptoms, treatment frequency may be reduced.
As an Acupuncturist with a Naturopathy Diploma
  • I spend time building a picture of your health so that your treatment is tailored to your specific needs and gets to the root of the problem.
  • I use very fine needles so that your treatment is relaxing and comfortable.
  • I use a variety of tools (alongside acupuncture) such as cupping, moxibustion, dietary advice and supplements, to support your treatment.
  • I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) I follow strict safety guidelines.
